With over 20 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry, Severina brings experience in all facets of commercial real estate, including development, investment management, acquisitions, asset management, accounting, financial analysis, due diligence, and project management. Severina spent 13 years with one of North Florida’s premier multifamily developers. Starting out as a Staff Accountant responsible for a portfolio of 13 properties, she was soon promoted to Sr. Accountant and then to Assistant Controller, where she managed a department of four accountants and one accounts payable clerk. From there, she moved into Finance, where she worked on refinancing a total of $xxx million loans and originating $xxx million loans, as well as coordinating the sales of $400 million of properties.
She then moved into a Development Management role, overseeing $150 million of new multifamily development including garden style, mixed-use, affordable housing, conventional, Class A, historic renovation, and adaptive re-use projects. Severina has a Bachelor’s in Business Administration with a major in Accounting from the University of North Florida in Jacksonville. She is a Certified Public Accountant and is a Candidate for Designation with the Appraisal Institute. Severina is active with CREW Atlanta, serving on the Membership Committee as well as Co-Chairing UCREW 2015. She also volunteers her time with the pilot Community Connections program with the Atlanta Women’s Foundation and the Center for Working Families.
